Identification and tagging of instruments is performed by scanning barcodes for quick simple data entry.
A TraqFastTM IT entry screen accepts a single scan of each tray and instrument to quickly identify the relationship of the instrument to the tray.
As instruments and trays move from one controlled location (operating room, wash or sterilization room, prep/pack) to another, they are recorded with just a simple scan.
Those instruments requiring calibration, sharpening or just general review on a prescheduled basis can be easily inserted into a scheduler and reported using the TraqFastTM IT Scheduling system.
Instruments leaving the premises for repair, maintenance, training, etc. can be approved and tracked for return by specifying a return time period. Tardy reports are available.
All TraqFastTM IT functions require the scanning of the employee’s badge prior to their execution.
